Excellence Scholarship Award

The Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes Excellence Scholarship Award will be awarded to a graduating student who resides in the city of Lauderdale Lakes and who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and significant community service activities of benefit to the school and/or the community.  The award will be determined based on academic achievement, financial need, community service, and the applicant’s character as demonstrated by their essay along with their letters of recommendation.

The Applicant is required to continue pursuing their course of study and making satisfactory progress toward a baccalaureate degree and continues to demonstrate commitment to community service. The Applicant must be a United States citizen or a Resident Alien, be a graduating senior in a Broward County High School AND reside in Lauderdale Lakes.
